SPRING HILL, Tenn. -

A United States Airman from Spring Hill will be laid to rest this week.

Twenty-year-old David Maxwell Walker II died at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma City where he was an aircraft mechanic.

Tuesday, the Patriot Guard Riders mounted their bikes and rode to honor the airman and his family.

Walker's death remains under investigation.

The family was told it could be months before details related to his death unfold.

The Heritage Funeral Home in Columbia is handling funeral arrangements.

Walker will lie in repose until his funeral Wednesday morning at 11 a.m.
