SUV rear-ends school bus in Donelson

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

A Metro school bus was involved in an accident Monday morning in Donelson.

The wreck was reported around 7:30 a.m. on Percy Priest Drive at Stewarts Ferry Pike.

Metro police said the driver of an SUV rear-ended the school bus.

A spokesperson for Metro Schools said there were students on the bus at the time on their way to Tulip Grove Elementary School.

It was not immediately clear if anyone on the bus was injured.

The driver of the SUV suffered minor injuries.
