Front Could Bring Strong Storms By PM? Week Not As Hot - WKRN, Nashville News, Nashville Weather and Sports

The Storm Prediction Center has us in the area for the risk area for some the stroms this afternoon and evening to become severe.

The biggest threat will be damaging winds and hail.

Out ahead of those storms it will be warm and humid with highs in the upper 80s to near 90 today.

Behind the front this week, temperatures will be dropping to upper 80s for Monday and 90-91 for Tuesday-Thursday.

Another front that will have cooler air behind it is being forecasted by the GFS model to move through here Friday, yielding only mid 80s for highs with mid 60s for lows. 

That would be really nice in August!
