FRANKLIN, Tenn. -
Franklin police detectives are investigating an antique store heist in which the crook stole pieces worth a combined estimated value of $80,000.
The break-in happened around 1:30 a.m. Thursday at Antiques at the Factory located at 230 Franklin Road.
Police said the suspect shattered the glass of the store's front door and headed right for a case where antique rings were on display.
The suspect forced entry into the case with a hammer before stealing several items.
Detectives say that a man in the business Wednesday afternoon may be a person of interest in the case.
