CARTHAGE, Tenn. -
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation Thursday night arrested a Smith County man for sexually exploiting a minor.
Agents arrested 51-year-old Doug Clemons at his home in Carthage, about 50 miles east of Nashville, after he was caught exchanging child pornography with another individual.
He was charged with aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor and booked into the Smith County jail without bond.
TBI agents executed a search warrant at Clemons' Lebanon Road home after receiving information that he was engaged in illegal activities involving a minor.
The TBI said it is continuing to investigate Clemons and he could face additional charges.
