Bowling Green police charged a mother for leaving her 15-month-old daughter inside a vehicle on Wednesday.
According to WBKO-TV, Amy Helton reported to authorities that she did not realize the child was with her.
Police said the girl was found sitting in her car seat in a mini van in the Walmart parking lot located on Morgantown Road.
Officers reported the child was inside the vehicle for more than 30 minutes. The windows of the vehicle were reportedly opened a slight amount.
The child was taken to an area hospital where she was treated and released.
Helton is charged with wanton endangerment.
