Williamson County Fair expected to draw in 150,000

FRANKLIN, Tenn. -

The eighth annual Williamson County Fair kicks off Friday and is expected to draw in over 150,000 people.

The fair runs from August 3 to the 11 at the Agricultural Exposition Park in the 4200 block of Long Lane in Franklin.

In addition to dozens of rides in the midway, fair officials said the event is an educational experience.

This year's theme is "Life on the Farm" and features an assortment of exhibits from agricultural displays to an historic village.
