GALLATIN, Tenn. -
A Gallatin woman was arrested Wednesday for stabbing her baby's father after she stabbed herself.
According to The Tennessean, Stephanie Buckley put a knife to her throat and stabbed herself in the arm. The father of her baby told police that he attempted to take the knife away from her and in the process she stabbed him in his upper right thigh.
According to the arrest affidavit, Buckley admitted to having a knife but denied stabbing anyone.
A witness allegedly saw Buckley stab herself and a tire on her baby's father's car.
Buckley was charged with aggravated assault and booked into jail on a $3,000 bond.
A court date is set for September 19.
Police said Buckley's arrest history reflects three counts of domestic assault in 2008.
