2 Humphreys County inmates walk away from work site

Authorities in Humphreys County are continuing to search for two inmates who walked away from a work site on Monday.

According to the sheriff's office, Dustin Allen and Dustin Jones were helping clean up trash after an annual festival in McEwen, Tennessee when they fled.

Officials are asking for the public to be on the lookout for the men.

Allen was originally in custody for a violation of probation for manufacturing methamphetamine, while Jones was jailed for violation of probation for theft.

Anyone with information on the pair's whereabouts is urged to contact the sheriff's office at 931-296-2301.
