Driver found in Burger King drive-through after hitting pedestrian

Metro police arrested an alleged drunk driver after he hit a pedestrian with his car in north Nashville and then crashed into a drive-through at a Madison fast food restaurant.

According to the arrest affidavit, Ahsan Wynn, 26, hit a pedestrian in the 1900 block of Cephas Street late Tuesday night.

He fled the scene after the crash and was found in the drive-through of the Burger King restaurant located on North Gallatin Pike in Madison.

There was damage to his windshield from hitting the pedestrian and police were able to obtain blood and hair samples.

Wynn reeked of alcohol and admitted to drinking but could not remember how much, the affidavit stated.

He was very unsteady on his feet and nearly fell down on at least two occasions.

Wynn was booked into the Metro jail on charges of DUI and leaving the scene of an accident, among other charges.

His bond was set at $23,000.

Information about injuries to the pedestrian was not released.
