Musician injured in shooting, Gunman remains at large

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

Metro police are continuing to search for the gunman who fired shots at a man outside the Family Wash Eatery and music venue early Sunday morning.

The incident was reported around 12:30 a.m. at the east Nashville venue located at 2038 Greenwood Avenue.

According to authorities, the suspect fired shots at the 22-year-old musician soon after got into his vehicle.

Police reported the gunman got out of a silver sedan with chrome wheels and demanded the victim's car.

The victim did not comply, resulting in the suspect shooting him in the shoulder through the driver's side window.

The victim was transported to an area hospital where he was treated and released.

At the time of the incident police said the suspect was wearing a black hat, red shirt with black writing and a bandana over his face.
