Overnight storms rudely awakened some residents of Middle TN from Portland to Gallatin to Lebanon to Smithville to McMinnville. Trees and power lines were down this morning in Lebanon.
Those storms have pushed southeastward out of Middle Tennessee and the sun is back out heating things up!
That northwesterly flow in the upper air does not show another impulse coming our way, so there will only be a slight chance for an afternoon pop up t'shower with partly cloudy skies.
Highs today and through the work week should be in the mid 90s in most of Middle Tennessee.
Right now we think that another front will approach from the northwest by Sunday, increasing chances for showers and t'storms, and lowering temperatures.
