NASHVILLE, Tenn. -
Strong storms knocked down trees and power lines in parts of Middle Tennessee during the early morning hours Tuesday.
The National Weather Service reported strong winds in areas of Wilson County with several trees down.
Storm damage was reported in areas east of Lebanon with power lines and trees down and limbs partially blocking roadways.
Trees were reported down along Coles Ferry Pike and Woodmont Avenue.
Power lines were reported in the roadway along Hartsville Pike. More than 100 residents were without power at the height of the storm.
Lingering storms have since moved out of the area. Temperatures will heat up into the mid-90s later in the day.
There is a slight chance of an afternoon popup storm.
