Lanes reopen after multi-vehicle crash on I-40

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

The westbound lanes of Interstate 40 in Davidson County have reopened following a multiple vehicle crash late Monday afternoon.

The crash was reported just before 5 p.m. at exit 219 near Stewarts Ferry Pike and J. Percy Priest Dam.

The lanes reopened around 7 p.m.

The cause of the crash was not immediately known.
