Best Western robbed by gunman

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

Metro police are searching for a suspect who robbed a hotel at gunpoint Sunday night

The incident happened around 9 p.m. at the Best Western located on Stewarts Ferry Pike, not far from Nashville International Airport.

Police told Nashville's News 2 the male suspect walked into the hotel, showed and a handgun and demanded money.

He fled the scene after taking an undisclosed amount of cash.

Police did not immediately release any other details.

No one was injured.

The investigation is ongoing.
