The graphic to the right shows Middle Tennessee under the influence of northwesterly flow aloft (surface winds will be SE & S). This will bring occasional upper level disturbances into the area which will produce scattered t'storms off and on.
The one pushing through today will kick off showers and t'showers in west Middle TN, but some of those should drift into Nashville and the I-65 corridor, as well.
Another disturbance you see up in Missouri could bring us a round of showers and t'showers tonight through the first part of Tuesday. Any of these storms could bring gusty winds.
Temperatures and humidity will be on the rise this week, with highs back in the mid 90s.
