Changes can be very subtle in late July and August when it comes to cold fronts.
That being said we hope to take the "edge" off of the heat in north Middle TN (including Nashville) with low 90s for highs and lowering humidity by late afternoon and evening.
In south Middle TN there will be a chance for seeing a few t'showers break out along the front as it creeps southward. Otherwise it will be warm and humid with highs in the mid 90s there.
Lows tonight should drop into the upper 60s with the lower humidity.
Sunday should maintain low 90s for highs under partly cloudy skies.
The recent rains (especially Thursday a week ago) really improved the Drought Monitor map for Middle TN, taking most counties out of the severe drought and downgrading them to moderate drought. The west and northwest areas still remain in severe and even extreme drought.
