
JACKSON, Tenn. (AP) - Police in Jackson, Tenn., say a man chased and shot at two teen boys after a fracas where three car loads of people showed up.
Officers said 33-year-old Bobby Avery got in his car and pursued two 15-year-old boys who had assaulted his 14-year-old daughter Monday night. Police said he shot at the boys, who were not injured.
According to a news release from police, three car loads showed up at the scene earlier where a group of young people were fighting.
Avery was charged with two counts of aggravated assault.
