CLEVELAND, Tenn. -

Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency officers took a 33-year-old man into custody after a passenger on his boat was killed last summer during a crash.

Authorities said Deontae Davis was indicted last week by a Bradley County Grand Jury as a result of an investigation into the boating death of Misty Thompson that occurred last August.

According to officials, Davis was the operator of the vessel that was involved in the collision that fatally injured 33-year-old Thompson.

Davis was taken into custody by TWRA officers on Monday and is charged with vehicular homicide.

He was transported to the Bradley County Justice Center where his bond was set at $15,000.
