A Middle Tennessee father, well-liked by his former neighbors in Williamson County, will spend more than a decade behind bars for inappropriately touching three juveniles who lived in his upscale subdivision just outside the Franklin city limits.
Jon Campanali was arrested on six counts of aggravated sexual battery last November.
He pleaded guilty Monday and was sentenced to 12 years behind bars.
Lead investigator Tameka Sanders said Campanali will serve 100% of his sentence and will be added to the state's sex offender registry.
"I am happy because we didn't have to have the kids testify about what happened," Det. Sanders told Nashville's News 2, adding, "Of all the things he did, this is the one thing he did right [by] keeping the kids from testifying."
The case against Campanali came together after one of his victims told his mother what happened and she contacted authorities.
The victims were ages nine and 10 in 2011 when the assaults occurred.
Campanali has two kids of his own but was not charged with sex crimes relating to his own children.
