NASHVILLE, Tenn. -
Metro police arrested a naked man over the weekend after he was caught setting fire to trash cans and dumpsters near downtown.
Kevin Armstrong, 41, was booked on arson charges early Sunday morning.
According to the arrest report, Armstrong was kicked out of the Nashville Rescue Mission Saturday night for drinking a beer in the parking lot naked.
Armstrong returned a short time later and lit two trash cans outside the mission on fire.
Police said Armstrong also set fire to dumpsters across the street.
Armstrong told police he was upset because mission staff had thrown some of his clothes away.
Police charged Armstrong with four felony counts of arson and one count of public intoxication.
He remained behind bars Monday morning on a $40,000 bond.
