The scene of a deadly drive by shooting earlier this summer has been declared a public nuisance and padlocked.
According to the Columbia Daily Herald, the district attorney filed a temporary injunction against the Country Club after it was discovered the club was operating without a business license since March 31.
The owners of the downtown Columbia nightclub will fight for its reopening during a hearing Wednesday.
Last month, Michelle Talavera, a 28-year old mother of four, died after she was shot outside the club.
No arrests have been made in her death.
