Sunday Update: Upper System Sneaking in From South

Posted:

We have watched an upper level disturbance push northward out of Alabama into Middle Tennessee that will increase our shower chances for this afternoon.

You clearly see the counter-clockwise twist on the Satellite Animation.

We'll push up the shower chances to 30-40%.  It does not look like severe weather, just some showers with a few t'showers.

They will taper off tonight.

Highs today will be near 90 near mid day, then falling into the 80s during the afternoon.

This week shower chances will be slim until the later part of the week.  Highs will be in the mid 90s with a heat index 100 or above.
