NASHVILLE, Tenn. -
Early morning vandalism Saturday at a Nashville high school caused thousands of dollars in damage.
Nashville Christian School officials told Nashville's News 2 that someone broke into their athletic facilities and did donuts on the football field.
There are large divots all over the grass and the high school estimates it could cost $20,000 to repair.
"We're very disappointed from a number of aspects," Tom Wright of Nashville Christian School told Nashville's News 2. "It's a faceless crime. There's no one to blame at this point."
Wright says the biggest thing is getting the field repaired.
The school does not have surveillance cameras, but says it's something they will now look into.
Nashville Christian School only has a few weeks to repair the field before school starts again.
