It's hard to believe that just a few weeks ago we were almost 8" below normal in rainfall for the year! But we do need a chance to dry out this weekend after the heavy rains.
I do want to mention, though, that northwest Middle Tennessee in counties like Stewart and Henry they did not receive the rains that most of us did and they continue under "extreme drought" (see graphic).
Today, we expect to see some cloud cover persisting with some sun peaking through with a high around 90 degrees (normal is 89), with a slight chance for a pop up t'storm in southern Middle Tennessee.
In the 7 Day Forecast, the mid 90s return by Monday, though by mid week we will re-introduce some scattered t'showers to the mix.
