Motorcyclist dies after Friday crash

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

A motorcyclist died on Friday afternoon after his bike was struck by an SUV.

The accident occurred around 3:30 p.m. at Gallatin Road and Myatt Drive.

The victim has been identified as 44-year-old Daniel Blackburn of Goodlettsville.

Police said the SUV turned in front of the oncoming motorcycle. The driver claims to have not seen the man on the bike.

Blackburn transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville where he died from his injuries.

The crash investigation is still ongoing.
