FRANKLIN, Tenn. -
Franklin police are investigating a robbery at a bank midday Friday in the Cool Springs area.
According to a news release, the Renasant Bank located at 9135 Carothers Avenue was robbed shortly around 11 a.m.
The suspect approached a teller, presented a pistol and demanded cash.
The teller complied with the robber's instructions and the robber then left without incident.
Authorities are searching for a tall, slender white male.
He was wearing a black baseball cap, black cloth covering his face, white long-sleeve button down shirt and blue jeans at the time of the robbery.
Franklin police and the FBI are investigating.
