Two Portland manufacturing facilities were heavily damaged on Thursday night during a quick moving storm. Strong winds reportedly damaged the roofs of Shoal's Technology and Daido Corporation located on Fred White Boulevard.
Debris could be seen littering parking lot and surrounding areas. Authorities told Nashville's News 2 a cleaning crew was inside one of the facilities when the storm moved through the area. A semi truck was also flipped at nearby Depor Industries."We hear rumbles, a real loud crash which I think debris which I think debris hitting trees and stuff like that and probably the tractor trailer falling," witness Dean Philpot said. No injuries were reported.
