NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

The family of a five-year-old girl who drowned at an Antioch pool party in May has filed a $1.5 million lawsuit.

Keesha Jordan was discovered at the bottom of a pool in about six feet of water around over Memorial Day weekend at a residence located in the 600 block of Rocky Mountain Parkway.

The child was transported to an area hospital where she later died.

Jordan's mother alleges the homeowner was negligent and did not monitor the child properly.

Youth Services detectives previously said the drowning appears to be an accident.
