Officer involved in crash while responding to robbery - WKRN, Nashville News, Nashville Weather and Sports

A Metro police officer was involved in a collision with another vehicle on Thursday afternoon while responding to a robbery call.

According to a report in The Tennessean, the accident occurred around 1:45 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of John Merritt Boulevard and 31st Avenue North.

The paper reported the officer turned in front of the other vehicle.

The officer and two occupants inside the other vehicle were transported to an area hospital as a precaution.

Minor injuries were reported.

The crash remains under investigation.
