CLEVELAND, Tenn. (AP) - A Bradley County grand jury has indicted the mother of two young boys who died of hyperthermia last month.
The sheriff's office said Wednesday night that 26-year-old Natasha Mach'e Moses Bates was charged with felony murder and other charges in the June 28 deaths of three-year-old River Bates and five-year-old Leland Bates.
The office said in a news release that the boys are believed to have died in a car. The temperature reached triple digits at the time.
Bates was being held without bond pending arraignment in criminal court.
