CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. -
Police believe a Clarksville woman stabbed a male acquaintance on Tuesday after she became angry with him for allegedly forgetting her birthday.
According to a report in the Leaf Chronicle, April Hopson stabbed the victim after an argument broke out between the pair on Peachers Drive.
Police said the victim attempted to leave, however the 28-year-old woman is said to have come out of her home with a kitchen knife and struck his vehicle.
The paper reported the victim's hand was cut after he got out of his vehicle to move Hopson out of the way.
Hopson is charged with aggravated assault.
She was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on a $5,000 bond.
