Father, son injured in Hermitage shooting, Neighbor wanted

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

A 21-year-old man and his father were injured in a shooting Tuesday night at an apartment complex in Hermitage and arrest warrants charging their neighbor with the crime have been issued.

According to police, 22-year-old Walter Johnson got into an argument with Steve Estes, 44, in a breezeway at the Burning Tree Apartments on Burning Tree Drive off Old Hickory Boulevard and Central Pike around 8:30 p.m.
 
Johnson reportedly displayed a handgun during the argument and a struggle ensued.

Estes' son Clint heard the argument and walked outside.

He and his father were both struck by gunfire and transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where they were treated and released.

Johnson faces two counts of aggravated assault.
