
Two people were injured after being struck by bullets during a drive-by shooting in north Nashville Sunday night.
Two women were sitting in their car and a male friend was standing nearby talking with another female when a male suspect drove by and began shooting around 8:30 p.m.
The man standing outside of the car began to run and was shot in the leg. One female victim sitting in the car was shot when a bullet traveled through the vehicle's back window, hitting her in the neck.
The female victim was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center for critical injuries.
The male victim received non-life threatening injuries.
No suspect or car description was immediately released.
The investigation is ongoing.
