Lonnie Ellison (source: Campbell County Sheriffs Office)LaFOLLETTE (WATE) - A LaFollete man is facing more than 80 charges related to child pornography and child rape.
Lonnie Ellison, 52, was arrested Friday after the Campbell County Grand Jury handed down an 82-count indictment Wednesday stemming from several months of investigation.
LaFollete police executed a search warrant at Ellison's home in April. The raid resulted in what police called "large quantities of evidence" found in a LaFollette storage unit.
Some of the charges against Ellison include rape of a child, aggravated sexual battery, and especially aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor.
Ellison is being held in the Campbell County Jail on a $150,000 bond.
The Knoxville Police Department's Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force assisted in the investigation.
