RECENT RAINS HELP DEFICIT; SCATTERED ACTIVITY TROUGH WEEKEND

Posted:

It's hard to believe that we are above normal in rain for the month of July!  And we put a pretty good dent in the year's deficit dropping from nearly 8" below normal to a little over 5" below.

Today through the weekend we will see pretty good chances for SCATTERED showers and t'showers, but not the steady rain like we saw yesterday from Nashville east and southward.

A little more sunshine poking in should get temperatures into the 80s today and low 90s over the weekend.

Next week the scattered activity thins out yielding highs in the mid 90s by mid week.
