COVINGTON, Tenn. (AP) - A Covington teacher has pleaded guilty to charges of having sex with juveniles.

WMC-TV reported that Cindy Clifton, formerly a teacher at Crestview Middle School, was sentenced Thursday to three years in prison and eight years on probation.

Clifton had been a teacher for 20 years when she was indicted in November on more than 50 counts, including statutory rape, rape by an authority figure and supplying alcohol to minors.

The 11 victims ranged in age from 14 to 17.
