A Hopkinsville, Kentucky woman who claimed she was robbed in a gas station bathroom was arrested Wednesday after investigators discovered her report to be false.
Katrina King, 22, told police she was cleaning the men's bathroom at the Swifty gas station on Ft. Campbell Boulevard on Tuesday night when a man, armed with a handgun, entered and robbed her.
She also told police the suspect sprayed her with pepper spray and struck her in the stomach before he fled the scene.
King was arrested Wednesday after it was determined her story was made up.
