Police seek leads in Franklin neighborhood tire slashings

FRANKLIN, Tenn. -

Police are continuing to seek leads in a recent string of tire slashings that occurred in a Franklin neighborhood.

The incidents occurred in the area of West Main Street and 11th Avenue during the overnight hours of June 25.

Authorities said multiple vehicles had their tires cut and estimate the damage to be over $1,000.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stopper at 615-794-4000.

An anonymous tip can also be sent to Franklin police by texting the keyword 615FPD, along with your message to 847411.

Information regarding the case could be worth up to $1,000.
