Clarksville runaway located by Metro police - WKRN, Nashville News, Nashville Weather and Sports

A 17-year-old runaway from Clarksville was safely located by Metro police on Tuesday night.

Crystal Gilliland's family previously reported the juvenile left her home in the 400 block of Appleton Drive on June 16 to stay with a nearby friend.

While away, Gilliland reportedly contacted her parents from a Nashville phone number and said she was visiting a friend who was in Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Information on where the minor was located was not released.

Gilliland has since been reunited with her family.
