NASHVILLE, Tenn. -
Metro police detectives are working to identify the gunman who robbed the Dollar General store located at 3053 Brick Church Pike Monday afternoon.
The suspect entered the store at 1:10 p.m. and demanded cash at gunpoint.
He may have fled in a red or burgundy Grand Prix parked on the side of the business.
The robber is a black man who appears to be in his early 20s.
He is approximately five feet, seven inches tall with a thin build and shoulder-length dreadlocks.
He wore a blue ball cap.
Anyone who recognizes the suspect is urged to call Metro detectives at 615-880-3311 or Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME.
Citizens can also send an electronic tip to Crime Stoppers by texting the word "CASH" along with their message to 274637 (CRIMES).
