Man shot while walking dog, Police search for suspect - WKRN, Nashville News, Nashville Weather and Sports

A man walking his dog in Rutherford County was shot late Monday night and police were still searching for the suspect Tuesday morning.

The incident happened around 9 p.m. in Walter Hill, near Ripkin Court and Lebanon Road.

According to the Daily News Journal, the victim was walking behind his home when he was shot.

He was reportedly taken to the hospital where he was last listed in stable condition.

Authorities have not released his identity.
