MURFREESBORO, Tenn. -
The manager of a Murfreesboro Cracker Barrel restaurant was injured over the weekend after being assaulted by a diner who refused to pay.
According to WGNS Radio, the incident occurred around 8 p.m. Saturday.
The Murfreesboro radio station reported that three patrons ate around $40 worth of food and attempted to leave without paying.
The manager of the restaurant approached one of the three subjects as they walked out the front door and was pushed down by one of the suspects in the process.
The restaurant worker fell and hit his head on the door.
The three diners fled the scene.
