
Lynn Cameron (source: Caryville Police Department)CARYVILLE (WATE) - Caryville police say they know the identity of a young woman who was left at a Campbell County bar and unable to communicate. Her mother is now facing charges.
Authorities say the girl showed up the night of June 28 at Big Orange Bar, 184 John McGhee Boulevard in Caryville. She was unable to tell anyone who she was or how she got there because she is a special needs child.
Investigators say the young woman is Lynn Cameron from Illinois. They say her mother, Eva Cameron, dropped her off at the bar and drove away.
Lynn Cameron had no identification and could not communicate.
Police say a caller tipped them off Sunday to the girl's identity.
Eva Cameron now faces criminal charges for abandoning her daughter.
Caryville police say they investigated leads in several states before getting a break in the case.
