Man, 58, found dead in north Nashville home

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

Metro police are investigating after a 58-year-old man was found dead Monday morning in north Nashville.

The discovery was made around 8 a.m. at a home located at 1708 22nd Avenue North, just south of Buchanan Street.

Metro police spokesperson Kristin Mumford identified the victim as Roy Lee White.

Police originally said White's death appeared suspicious, however have since said there are no apparent signs of foul play.

Mumford said White lived alone and was last seen around 11 p.m. Saturday.

His body was discovered by the home's caretaker.

The investigation is ongoing.
