Showers and Thunderstorms Likely

STORMS INTO THE EVENING HOURS AND INCREASING ON MONDAY.

Plan for showers and thunderstorms as we move into Sunday evening.  Some of the storms will produce gusty winds and lightning.  You can also expect some heavy downpours in area neighborhoods. We need the rain as you know.

Rain will end around midnight is most of middle Tennessee.  Overnight low tonight at 75 degrees.

A slow moving cold front will bring better chances for rain on Monday and Tuesday.  A 70% chance for showers and thunderstorms on Monday.  Some rain may be heavy.

Temperatures will drop down to more normal readings for most of the week.  Highs will be in the upper 80's to lower 90's.  Higher humidity values will keep the heat index in the upper 90's range.
