NASHVILLE, Tenn. -
A four-year-old boy battling a brain tumor will soon have his wish to meet Mickey Mouse granted.
The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Middle Tennessee is sending Ashton Brown and his family to a stress free vacation in Orlando.
The past few years have not been easy for Ashton and his parents, who have had to watch him struggle with the tumor, doctor's appointments and lots of needles.
"Want to take it away from him and put it on me," said Joe Brown of his son's pain.
The family learned about the trip to Disney World at a celebrity baseball tournament Friday evening.
"I'm speechless, I'm just so grateful for everything that Make-A-Wish is doing," Brown said, adding, "He's going to be thrilled. I can't wait to see the look on his face when he actually meets Mickey Mouse!"
The family leaves for Disney World in two weeks.
