Man, dogs injured after attack by neighborhood dog - WKRN, Nashville News, Nashville Weather and Sports

A man was transported to an area hospital after he and his pets were attacked by a neighborhood dog on Wednesday.

Officials told Nashville's News 2 the victim, whose identity was not released, was walking his three small dogs in the 200 block of Creekstone Circle when the incident occurred.

Two of the man's dogs were injured in the scuffle.

The owner of the attacking dog, which is said to be a pit bull mix, surrendered the canine to animal control.

The two injured canines were taken to an emergency pet care center in Mt. Juliet.  

The man was transported to an area hospital for minor injuries.
