Crews work to repair downtown water main break - WKRN, Nashville News, Nashville Weather and Sports

Crews are working to repair a water main break in downtown Nashville on Tuesday afternoon.

The break was reported just before 3:30 p.m. at 2nd Avenue South and Peabody Street.

While crews are working to repair the 36-inch water main break, Hermitage to 2nd avenues will remain closed.

Police officers are onsite to assist with traffic.

Motorists are asked to avoid the area.

Repairs are expected to continue until after Midnight.
