2 ejected in crash involving semi truck

Two people were ejected from a utility truck on Monday afternoon after being involved in a crash involving a semi truck on State Route 840 near Thompson's Station.

The crash was reported around 5 p.m. at mile marker 32.

Lanes were shut down for a few hours while crews were on the scene.  

Authorities reported the two victims, who have been identified as Don Baker and Steve Jones, were transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Both were last listed in stable condition.

No additional information was released.
